What started as a tool for composing music for Jazzy James band project, became his main passion. Composing led to producing, while playing live as a goal of the process became less important. Jazzy James grew up with two musician parents, surrounded by their classical string instrument sounds. As soon as he could choose his own CDs, he went for HipHop, Pop and Jazz. His trumpet led him to a Jazz and Pop study in the Netherlands, that opened doors to new musical spheres.

Since his comeback to his hometown Berlin, he lives a life playing stages as a trumpeter and pursuing his very own sonic vision as a producer.
